Now that you’re on board, settle into a spot where you won’t be disturbed. Some people like to sit in a comfy chair, others like to lay down. If you can listen on headphones those will work best, but if not, paying the recording from your device will work just fine. In a moment, Frank will take you through a brief guided hypnosis, moving you into a state of heightened subconsciousness. Unlike mindfulness meditation which generally engages participants in focusing on bodily sensations and quieting the mind, these guided hypnotic meditations are full of detailed imagery, and powerful suggestions.
Please know that there is no wrong way to do this! Some people have very visual imaginations during a meditation, others see blackness, while some are quite analytical. No matter your natural style, just relax, listen and let the meditation work it’s magic. If Frank asks you to picture something, and you’re not easily able to picture it, don’t stress about it. Just relax and hear the words being spoken. Don’t work too hard! In fact, don’t work at all. You will be brilliant.
